Mark Dion's Bookstore

"Mark Dion's Bookstore" is an art installation that invites viewers to consider the tension between a physical structure and the life it contains. It consists of a cardboard city growing around Mark Dion's “the bookseller's house” ( Israel Museum Jerusalem , Israel) Viewers can participate in the city's growth by adding houses. The installation invites viewers to consider the relationship between architectural expansion and living organisms.
